Web Developer


We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team!  The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Product, Development and QA Groups in developing software solutions of the highest quality for the commercial real estate market, utilizing the latest software technologies. This position reports to the Product Manager

What you’ll get to do:
  • Acquire a strong understanding of the languages, frameworks, libraries, databases, services and tools utilized by the Angus Web Development team.
  • Work on each assigned project in close collaboration with the assigned project team.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain dynamically-driven websites and web-based technologies in coordination with other team members.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled status meetings with the project team to understand requirements, suggest product improvements, explain code design, provide estimates, describe work progress, identify risks to timelines and advise on testing
  • Produce high-quality code; readable, modular, efficient, elegant, scalable, documented
  • Design before implementing code; create prototypes, draw diagrams, analyze existing code, consult peers, research external sources
  • Maintain a sense of urgency during project execution
  • Keep current with emerging technologies relating to software development
Who you are:
  • You have recently graduated University or College with a diploma in Computer Science or a related field and/or up to 2 years of job related experience.
  • You have good PC/data entry skills and you demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • You have knowledge of programming language fundamentals
  • You are proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • You have 2-3 years of work experience with PHP.
  • You have experience using PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or equivalent.
  • You love creating PHP applications and beautiful front ends.
  • You want to learn other technologies such as: Vue JavaScript framework, Version control system (GIT), etc.
